The cards have been in the shops for a couple of months now and £5 bumper tins of Heroes andRoses have begun to appear in the supermarkets - so it can only mean one thing,  that Christmas is on its way!

To get in the Christmas spirit, RLT is hosting a Christmas Cracker at The Wharf on the evening of Saturday 8th and the afternoon of Sunday 9th December.

The words and music event will feature readings by writers such as Charles Dickens and Laurie Lee, and well known Christmas songs and carols. If you would like to take part either as a reader or singer please contact Richard Hall to register your interest.

There will be 3 to 4 rehearsals leading up to the event with Richard and Shaun, who has kindly offered to be MD and also quiz master for a yuletide themed quiz! When contacting Richard please can you let him know you are available to rehearse in the last two weeks of November and the first week of December. Thank you.

We are hoping to involve some Academy members in Christmas Cracker and look forward to confirming their involvement shortly. Full details including when and how to book will be posted at the beginning of November.

Even if you are a bit of a Grinch or a Scrooge, hopefully you will still volunteer to take part or even better come along to support RLT and help generate some much needed funds for the society.

If you have any questions and / or would like further information about the event please contact Richard direct / 07813 077079.
